Indotherium

Following a slight but gradual marked decrease in annual visitor attendance and revenue over the past few years, Holocene World began development on a revolutionary new attraction to rejuvenate interest in their park. The creation of a completely new genetically-engineered hybrid created from the genes of several Cenozoic mammals. 

Hybrid contains ancient DNA from Ursus (base genome), Canis, Crocuta, and Hippopotamus, among others. Minor inclusion of modern DNA from oceanic rotifers, hydrozoan, and some others were added to encourage the rapid growth and health of the animal so that it could be ready for public display as soon as possible, and resistance to disease and stress in a captive environment. Asset reached over one tonne and four metres in length during last observation, but had not reached full maturity.
